Healthy Smoothie Recipe for Weight loss

Start 2015 with this healthy smoothie recipe for weight loss and feel cleansed after all the holiday partying!

Organic Ingredients:

  • 2 cups living watercress
  • 3 cups frozen berries
  • 20 oz water or orange juice
  • cayenne to taste
  • 1 oz fresh ginger
  • 4 Tbsp honey
  • 3 Tbsp flax seed
  • 1 lemon

 

Directions:

  • Wash all ingredients.
  • Peel and de-seed lemon.
  • Cut peel off of the ginger root with a small knife.
  • Remove the living watercress from root ball.
  • Place all ingredients into blender and blend on high until you reach desired consistency.
  • Add more liquid to achieve a thinner consistency.
  • Add as much cayenne as you like, the hotter the better!
  • Serves four
