Start 2015 with this healthy smoothie recipe for weight loss and feel cleansed after all the holiday partying!
Organic Ingredients:
- 2 cups living watercress
- 3 cups frozen berries
- 20 oz water or orange juice
- cayenne to taste
- 1 oz fresh ginger
- 4 Tbsp honey
- 3 Tbsp flax seed
- 1 lemon
Directions:
- Wash all ingredients.
- Peel and de-seed lemon.
- Cut peel off of the ginger root with a small knife.
- Remove the living watercress from root ball.
- Place all ingredients into blender and blend on high until you reach desired consistency.
- Add more liquid to achieve a thinner consistency.
- Add as much cayenne as you like, the hotter the better!
- Serves four
